Language Arts- Jaros

What we did today:
-Read "The Heartbeat of a Dinosaur", discussed point of view.
-Began reading "A Retrieved Reformation"

-Check your grades on Skyward
-Get a head start on choosing books for your summer reading assignment!
 

Science 6/9

What We Did Today
Today in class we took our Ecology Test.  Afterwards time was given to finish the Ecology final project.  Books were also turned in.

Homework
Work on final project it is due at the beginning of the period tomorrow.  Make sure both peer edit forms are turned in and check the blog for grading rubric.

-Nelson Mandela memoir- comprehension (Hours 1 and 2)
-The Lottery by Shirley Jackson with class discussion

-Check Skyward, all grades are entered.
-Begin choosing your 3 books for your summer reading assignment.

What We Did Today
In today's class we worked on our project by first peer editing each other's projects. Additional time was given to make changes and add in items that were missing.  We also did an observation and studied for tomorrow's ecology test

Mercer-Humanities/History

What we did today:
We continued to work in small groups on the activity we started on Friday.  Although this is for fun, it's tied into the ancient history we have been learning in class this year.

Homework: No homework for the rest of the year.

Mercer-Humanities/History

What we did today: Today students turned in their final assessment.  Their previous assessment was handed back and we went over it in class.
We started a small group activity today and this will cover the next couple days.  Although this is for fun, it's tied into the ancient history we have been learning in class this year.

Homework: No homework for the rest of the year.

RR Math: Turn in any missing homework by Monday.

RR ELA: Read. Logs are due Monday! No exceptions.

Homework
Work on final project, turn in missing work.
Turn in any books that you have from home. A book count needs to be done no later than next Monday.
*Late work will be accepted through Monday, June 8th. After that no late work will be accepted.

Mercer-Humanities/History

What we did today: Today I took final questions about the final assessment that is due tomorrow.  For the rest of the hour we learned about the Olmec, Moche, Bantu, and Lapita people.  This was to show some examples of what was going on outside Afroeurasia.

Homework: Finish the final assessment that is due tomorrow.
