What we did today: Today we read about the origin of language. We talked about the different theories about how language may have developed. At the end of the hour students were to complete a flow chart explaining how early forms of communication developed and evolved into more complex forms of communication eventually leading to a written language.
Homework: All students should have all the questions and topics for the assessment in their notebooks. Students should be going over these a little bit every night. The assessment is a week from today.
